Day 1: Arrival/ Addis Ababa. Overnight – Addis

Day 2: Fly from Addis to Mekelle and drive to Hamed Ela. Overnight - Camping – Hamed Ela

Day 3: Full day Excursion in Danakil Depression – Overnight - Camping – Hamed Ela

Day 4: Drive from Hamed Ela to Waydodom and then towards Erta Ale (13 km from Waydodom).Overnight – Camping – nearby Arte Ale

Day 5: Trek to the Volcanic Mountain of Arte Ale. Overnight – Camping - on the top of Arte Ale

Day 6: Trek down from Arte Ale to where your cars camped and drive to Afdera. Overnight – Basic hotel (Horahor Hotel) - Afdera

Day 7: Drive from Afdera to the town of Awash National Park. Overnight –hotel – Awash Sebat

Day 8: Drive from Awash Sebat to Addis and departure home.
