Key Species
Wildlife: Burchell's and Grevy's zebras (likely to be seen). Ostrich, Gazelle.
Birds: White Tailled sawllow, Stressman’s Bushcrow, Abyssinian hornbill, Bustards, Somali Courser, Donadsonssmith’s Nighjar, Black Flycatcher, White-cheeked Turaco, Tawny Wagtail, Bare-faced Go-Away-Bird and over 210 other birds are likely to be seen.
Why visit this Park? Originally set up to protect and conserve the Swayne’s hartebeest, this park is made up of savannah with woody and herbaceous plants. This park is most important for birdwatchers.

Borena National Park can be visited either from Addis Ababa to Yabello then to the Park or combined with the Omo Valley Tribes of South Ethiopia.
