Didessa National Park
Didessa wildlife Park , established in 2017, formerly designed a wildlife sanctuary is located in in western Ethiopia, between Bedelle and Ketema Town, on the way to Nekemte. It is named after the Didessa River, a tributary of the Abay River.
The area of this Park is 1,333 square kilometers containing a watershed with 14 small streams, about 54 plant species, 30 mammal species, and a number of birds.
Wildlife
The park is home to a wide range of species, including elephants, lions, leopards, and buffalos. It is also fine destination for birdwatchers to observe over 300.
Didessa National Park can be visited with Gambela National Park or with Chebera Churchura National Park
